FAQ

  • What styles of guitar do you teach?

I offer electric guitar lessons, acoustic guitar lessons, and classical guitar lessons for all ages and abilities. Styles include rock, pop, jazz, blues, metal, and classical, as well as everything in between. Whether you want to strum chords, learn fingerpicking, or master solos, I tailor lessons to your goals.

  • Do you teach children?

Yes! I teach children’s guitar lessons from age 6 upwards. Lessons are fun, supportive, and structured to build confidence step by step while making sure young players enjoy learning music.

  • What do I need to start?

To begin, you’ll need a guitar. I can recommend the best beginner electric guitars or beginner acoustic guitars, along with essential accessories like tuners, picks, and straps.

  • Do you travel to students?

I provide guitar lessons in Fleet, Hampshire, and the surrounding areas, including Farnham, Aldershot, Church Crookham, and Camberley, within a 10-mile radius. If you’re nearby, I can come to you for lessons at home.

  • Do I need my own guitar?

Yes, you’ll need your own instrument to practice at home. If you’re just starting out, I can recommend affordable and reliable beginner guitars to get you started.

  • Do you teach online?

Yes, I offer online guitar lessons for students anywhere in the UK or abroad. I use Streamyard, which is simple and doesn’t require you to set up an account. Online lessons are ideal if you live outside my travel area or prefer learning from home.

  • Can I try a lesson first?

I don’t provide free trials, but I recommend booking a one-off introductory guitar lesson to see if my teaching style is the right fit for you.

  • Do you teach at your place?

I have a small number of time slots available for guitar lessons at my home studio in Fleet. These are currently fully booked, but spaces occasionally become available.
